Malwarebytes is a software company that makes cybersecurity products for consumers and businesses. As a copywriter and UX writer, I work in both marketing and design. For example, I worked with UI designers and engineers to create nearly all of the in-app copy for the company’s iOS product. At the same time, I worked with product marketing managers and graphic designers to create nearly all of the marketing copy for web, email, and the App Store itself. The app is currently rated at 4.5/5 on the App Store. I’ve also worked on successful campaigns to launch products, improve product utilization, and boost conversions from Free to Premium.

Propeller Health

Propeller Health is a healthcare startup that makes a sensor and app that's been proven to reduce asthma symptoms. The sensor, in harmony with the app, tracks the patient's symptoms, reminds them when to use their inhaler, and helps them take proactive steps to prevent asthma attacks. I rewrote copy for their main landing page. By changing the copy alone, the conversion rate for the page improved by 25.18%. I also used UX copy improvements to deliver 96.01% more visitors to the signup page.

TIBCO Software

TIBCO is a 1 billion dollar company in the enterprise software industry. TIBCO's business software gives companies the ability to process more transactions, analyze more data, and act faster. As TIBCO's go-to copywriter, I worked on things like print ads, web sites, and email campaigns. I also wrote more technical documents like white papers, data sheets, and customer stories. 

Published in trade publications for the rail industry, this ad shows how TIBCO helps train companies support more passengers.

TIBCO NOW

Lead copywriter on the company's annual user conference. Conference had 20% more attendance compared to the previous year (2013) and 40% more than 2012*.

Olamic makes custom knives for collectors and enthusiasts. Their initial product line, under the name Olamic Cutlery, focused on traditional fixed-blade knives. When they started a new product line focused on modern, tactical folding knives, I created an updated version of their logo and wrote a new company tagline, "Never the Same."
